My mission here is to try and get as many people to come together as I can, to show that we can all defeat this hate that ppl are trying to get us to spread. They want to see us separate. I cannot see that happen. If that does what happens to my kids and their kids and on down the line? My children and theirs should not have to be forced to pick sides of which color they are going to roll with. That does happen, my kids chose their African American side for the longest in my house and I was in shock as their Caucasian mother. I’m not the best speaker in the world and that’s why I’m reaching out to others to help me come up with something to fix this. In honor of my son because he has sickle beta thal and had multi organ failure and had to have a liver transplant and is in liver rejection and kidney failure and because of the sickle part they won’t give him another transplant. So in my opinion we have bigger things to worry about,HE has bigger things to worry about than the color of his skin. This is to honor my daughter Chalisse and granddaughter KayLani as well, she’s a first time mother who needs to worry about that, not the color of her skin or her daughters skin. Who will accept her when she is older and who won’t. There is room in this world for us all. Mixed couples, mixed races, all deserve respect. Their struggle is hard as well
